ABOUT SUPERIOR HEMA
At Superior HEMA we teach from the ground up all the fundamentals one needs to be competent with blades. Beginning with cutting structure and footwork. Then moving onto advanced techniques and tactics directly from the teachings of the old masters.

We primarily teach from the Zettel. A recital on knightly combat written by Johannes Liechtenauer. And focusing on his teachings with the longsword.
Instructor
Zach Brown started his HEMA journey in 2017, learning and competing across North America. Receiving medals with multiple weapons. He enjoys studying the historical sources, learning languages, and practicing other systems, including Olympic Fencing and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. There's nothing he likes better than hitting, or getting hit, with a technique directly from the manuscripts.
